Dane’s first engagement with ThreatX over a year ago made an immediate impression with the platform’s deep visibility into application traffic inspection using Extended Berkley Packet Filter (eBPF), a technology that extends the ability to attach at the kernel level within Linux environments. He describes ThreatX’s innovative approach as providing “architectural flexibility,” especially with its unique approach to moving security deeper into the stack, within application’s runtime workloads.
“It’s a step beyond where many others are,” he says, highlighting the platform’s utilization of eBPF technology, which offers deeper visibility and protection at the kernel level without introducing additional risk like other agent-based installs.
