I am pleased to announce that ThreatX has been recognized by Gartner® in the Magic Quadrant™ for Cloud Web App and API Protection (WAAP) for the second year in a row. We believe this is quite an accomplishment, especially when you consider how rapidly the market is growing. I’m so proud of the ThreatX team and the technology we have built. I’m also grateful for our customers and partners who have helped us build such an innovative, effective solution.
Web app and API security is a big and growing problem, and we are helping our customers not only understand their attack surface, but also to block attacks in real time. Backed by a machine learning and AI-powered risk engine, ThreatX detects and analyzes behavioral patterns over time to immediately stop DDoS, complex botnet, and multi-mode attacks. ThreatX also provides extensive API protection capabilities, including discovery, attack surface visualization, and schema enforcement.
ThreatX’s inclusion in this report follows the announcement that we raised $30 million in Series B funding, which we will use to accelerate investments in platform development and scale our global sales and marketing initiatives. In addition, ThreatX was recently acknowledged twice as a Sample Vendor in the Gartner Hype CycleTM for Application Security, 2022 report. ThreatX was listed within the API Threat Protection and Cloud WAAP categories.
These are exciting time for us here at ThreatX, and we’re just getting started. We’d love to show you what we can do; you can request a demo here. In addition, check out the latest 2022 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Web Application and API Protection to:
